We specialise in beautiful immersion courses. Our next destination will be the gorgeous Bay of Arcachon, on the French West Coast. Come along to one of our immersion courses to boost your French with our native French speaking teachers who also have extension experience traveling and leading tours.

The place

For this immersion course, our basecamp will be a house by the ocean in the Bay of Arcachon. The exact location is yet to be determined as it will depend on the number of participants. What we can guarantee is that the house(s) we will choose will meet our usual list of criteria:

-spacious with an outdoor living space,

-beautiful and convenient location,

-amazing facilities with a full kitchen for cooking lessons, a lovely lounge for teas/coffees/movie night/conversation sessions,

-useful amenities such as Wifi, laundry, etc,

-we will try our best to get a pool, although the ocean will be nearby.

Should you choose to stay on-site, you will benefit from a room and access to all facilities.

The course

Our students will enjoy French classes in the common room for at least 3 hours a day. As usual, all our classes are prepared based on our students' levels and goals. Whether you are learning French for personal reasons or for work, we will tailor our courses to your needs. These more formal lessons are completed by a set of activities in French: tours, tastings, cooking classes, conversation café sessions, sports activities, shopping and open market assignements... We set the exact program once we have a full list of participants to be sure there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Examples of activities from the previous years: village tour, painting activity, open market, train city tour, cruise, cooking workshop with a chef, perfume making, winery tour and tasting activity, discovery of dried ham factory, linen factory tour, hike and picnic, etc.

The basic tuition package includes:

-Full course with all learning material and all activities,

-Soft drinks and nibbles in the premises,

-immersion breakfasts and 6 immersion meals,

-one teacher for 6 to 8 students to teach you all day and answer all your questions.

This basic tuition package is eligible to CPF financing. All CPF financed students will have to take a certification exam. Cost of the certification package: €200.

You can add:

-a room, single or double occupancy

Our packages do not include:

-transports (contact us for help and solutions),

-drinks (other than those mentionned),

-meals not mentionned in the program,

-tips and personal expenses,

-insurance.

Minimum level of French:

No minimum level required. You will take a placement test (formal or informal, depending on your situation), alternatively we also accept a level certificate that is under two years old as proof of your level.

Class format and tests:

During our classes we use diverse material, from booklets to videos and interactive material. All material is provided and included in the cost of the course.

You will sit a short level test at the end of the course to show your progress. You can also choose to sit a certification test (compolsory for all CPF students).

Minimum number of participants:

This course requires a minimum of 3 participants to go ahead.

Terms and conditions:

Deposit to secure your booking : 50 % all total fee.

Full payment 60 days before the beginning of the trip.

Refund policy: Due to the bespoke organisation, our courses are not refundable. Names on tickets can be changed up to the the first placement test.

In the event that we have to cancel the course, our participants get a full refund.
